A: Yes, M2 ™ does help prevent disease in a number of ways. For one, it reduces the oxidative damage to cells that make them more susceptible to disease and strengthens the cell walls to make it more difficult for invadors to penetrate and enter the cell. Q: How does M2 ™ work?
A: Basically, all animals - including horses and humans - are exposed on a daily basis to free radicals. We survive because we have an antioxidant defense system. Mushrooms have a high concentration of one of the most potent antioxidants in the world and that’s L-Ergothioneine (ERGO). Horses and humans cannot manufacture ERGO.
