On the Road with the Mushroom Matrix Team at the Florida Show Circuit
The Mushroom Matrix team will soon be on the road to Florida. Team members will be on site for two of the largest events of the Florida winter show season, the highly popular Palm Beach Dressage Derby and week seven of the Winter Equestrian Festival.
The months-long Winter Equestrian Festival draws some of the best hunter and show jumper riders in the world competing for a piece of the multi-million dollar prize money. The Matrix team will be on hand at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) for the start of the U.S. Equestrian Federation's Olympic Selection Trials for show jumping, scheduled for Feb. 27 - March 2. The opening weekend of the Selection Trials, with is a three-star CSI event, also features the $100,000 Zada Enterprises Master Cup.
Matrix team members will also be down the road from the PBIEC at the prestigious Palm Beach Dressage Derby CDI-W/CDI-Y. Scheduled for Feb. 28- March 2, this year's show is extra special because it's the 25th anniversary of the Derby. And, as this is an Olympic year, the Derby will also serve as a qualifying competition for riders hoping to make it to the Selection Trials, scheduled for June in California, that will decide who will be on the U.S. Olympic Dressage Team.
The Matrix team can easily be found Thursday evening at the Derby when the Matrix joins forces with DressageDaily.com to sponsor the Derby Inspection Reception. Food and wine will be served and not surprisingly, mushrooms will be the dinner theme.
