Matrix Equine Team Member Jane Hannigan Collects a Check and Applause at New England Dressage Association Clinic
Matrix Equine Team member Jane Hannigan and her world-class stallion Maksymilian were the featured Grand Prix riders at a recent Robert Dover dressage clinic hosted by the New England Dressage Association (NEDA).
NEDA is the largest regional dressage organization in the U.S. and frequently sponsors dressage clinics by some of the best trainers in the world. The organization's spring clinic, held May 17-18 near Boston, featured Robert Dover, who was a member of the U.S. Olympic Dressage Team for a record six times. Dover provided training tips for riders and horses competing at all levels of dressage - from Training to Grand Prix.
It was the first public outing in the U.S. for Jane and Mak having just returned from Europe were they represented the U.S. in the Dressage World Cup -the world championships for dressage. They finished the competition as the highest-placed American pair. Mak is a Matrix horse and Hannigan credits the Matrix with getting her horse to the world championships.
"The Matrix has definitely made a difference in Mak. It's helped him become more calm and more focused, but without reducing his energy level," she said.
As part of its support for Jane and Mak's World Cup trip, the Matrix donated a portion of the sales of Equine Calm Performance (ECP) to Jane and Mak. At the NEDA clinic, a very happy Jane was presented with a check for more than $1,400.
"All I can say to the Matrix people is thank you, thank you, thank you," Jane said. Mak was excited too, but less about the financial donation than about the Matrix banner by his side. Always, excitable, the Matrix has helped Mak become a much more calm horse and with a little coaxing, agreed to have his photo taken with the Matrix banner.
"We're happy to support riders like Jane and horses like Mak who we believe are wonderful representatives for American dressage," said Matrix Vice President Keith Manfred.
Mak is just one of many high-level competition horses using the Matrix. A growing number of riders and trainers around the world are discovering its many benefits, which includes the promotion of healthy joints, immune system support and increased stamina and muscle development.
